Hi Mr. Balmber,
FLH has over 100 year-round volunteers who review the books donated.
Experts in each field price the books. Any books thought to be of significant value are researched to determine their value.
By the way, if you would like to volunteer at our warehouse to sort books, please let me know.
We are always looking for volunteers!
Mahalo,
Mae

It may possibly be of interest to you that I had also inquired at
the library. In particular, I'd asked Mr. Baroza who said that with-
drawn and discarded books are sometimes duplicated.
And I also enquired about whether the books were researched,
as to their possible value or collectability, and was told "no".
I enquired because I noticed some of the books are quite old and
sometimes contained hand drawn pictures. And I also would think
some of them were considered outdated which would preclude
an updated reprint. Does FOTLOH make this effort?
