Books discarded by the libraries are offered at nominal cost at Friends' book sales throughout the year. The proceeds from these sales are returned to the library system.

66th Annual Booksale: JUNE 22-30 2013. They could have sold all those books they threw away. Or. maybe they were sold, somewhere after the dumpster.
